KAIST - KIAS Joint Research Program
is a collaborative research initiative jointly promoted by KAIST and KIAS based on mutual trust and cooperation, with the aim of advancing basic science and strengthening global research competitiveness.
The program seeks to produce world-class research outcomes while fostering the next generation of researchers.
Currently, joint research is focused on the fields of mathematics and theoretical physics, with plans to expand into AI for Science and computational science in the future.
In addition, KAIST and KIAS plan to continuously expand and advance the current Joint Research Group framework, secure government funding, and develop it into Korea's leading collaborative research platform for basic science.
